Now, Mondstadt's Kaeya and Klee may be the next characters set to receive skins. Skin sets have also featured one character who is more readily available as part of each pair with Barbara, Collei, Ningguang, and Lisa available through events or as a starter character. Each new skin addition to Genshin Impact has come as a pair with one for purchase in the in-game store and one for free by playing through a limited-time event. Genshin Impact has released eight different skins since it first debuted Barbara and Jean's summer attire back in Version 1.5. Now, two more Mondstadt characters are rumored to be receiving their first skins. The game has also featured multiple new skins for several of its characters, featuring unique outfit designs and some skins even having new effects. Since the launch of HoYoverse's massively popular action-RPG in late 2020, the game's roster has continued to grow to a staggering 65 characters currently available with new members frequently added. A new rumor claims Genshin Impact will be adding a pair of character skins to the game, featuring some of the first characters ever released.
